Jeyhun Bayramov meets with Special Representative of Russian Foreign Ministry

On September 9, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received Igor Khovaev, special representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Report has learned from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the parties exchanged views on the bilateral agenda between Azerbaijan and Russia, on the current situation in the region, including various aspects of the process of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as on future prospects.

The importance of fulfilling the provisions of the tripartite statements signed by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia, as well as the agreements reached within the framework of the normalization process, was emphasized.

Other regional issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
