North Caucasus republics committed to strengthening ties with Azerbaijan, Russian expert says

Russia is focused on developing friendly relations and cooperation with Azerbaijan, and the heads of the North Caucasus republics are also supporting this trend, Evgeny Mikhailov, a Russian political expert, told Report.

Mikhailov emphasized the excellent relations between the North Caucasus republics and Azerbaijan.

"Regular negotiations are underway to open new joint business projects, and cultural events are being held. Meetings between official delegations from Azerbaijan and the North Caucasus republics are frequent," he stated.

The expert believes that the ongoing development of relations between Moscow and Baku also provides an impetus for the development of relations and the implementation of joint projects between Azerbaijan and the North Caucasus republics.
