President: Azerbaijan, Georgia have very high level of cooperation

"Of course, peace will completely change the situation in the region. I hope to see the time when three Caucasus countries will cooperate. Now, for example, the level of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia is very high. We are strategic partners, and our country has excellent relations with the current Georgian government. Two states support each other and are good neighbors and friends."

According to Report, President Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with Japan's Nikkei newspaper.

"Look at how many projects we have implemented together - oil and gas transportation, electricity transport, railway connection, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum, TANAP, and many other projects. In my opinion, Azerbaijan is the first or second largest investor in Georgia, along with Turkey. It is the first or second-largest taxpayer," the head of state added.
