Moldova, which already has a stable government, is interested in expanding economic cooperation with Azerbaijan and attracting Azerbaijani investors to the country, said Mihail Popșoi, Parliament Vice-Speaker and chairman of the country's ruling party.
Report informs that he spoke at the first reporting event of the Moldova Azerbaijanis Congress in Chisinau.
Popșoi highly appreciated the activity of the Azerbaijanis Congress: "We are happy to see the active Azerbaijani community in Moldova."
The vice speaker thanked Congress for supporting the presidential election held in 2020 and the parliamentary elections held this year. He said that the role of such talented Azerbaijani youth is among the main provisions of the political, social, and cultural development of Moldova. The vice speaker also praised the activity of the Azerbaijani ambassador in Moldova.
