Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexey Overchuk and Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev discussed issues of multifaceted trade and economic cooperation in Moscow and confirmed their readiness to strengthen bilateral cooperation in several areas, Report informs via TASS.

"The negotiations focused on topical issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation that are on the agenda of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan," says a message published on the website of the Russian government. "The co-chairs of the intergovernmental commission confirmed their readiness to continue a constructive dialogue aimed at strengthening the Russian-Azerbaijani relations in all areas of cooperation."

The parties paid special attention to the development of cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, industry, energy, transport, agriculture, finance, healthcare, culture, science, interregional cooperation, education and tourism.
