Russian political scientists congratulate Azerbaijan on Independence Day

Russian political scientists have congratulated Azerbaijan on May 28 - Independence Day, the Russian bureau of Report informs.

Russian military expert, editor-in-chief of the Natsionalnaya Oborona (National Defense) magazine Igor Korotchenko noted the development and role of Azerbaijan in world processes: “We are following Azerbaijan’s progress and are sincerely pleased with the big and powerful steps. Azerbaijan is one of the countries that determine the course of the most important world processes.”

According to the expert, Russia considers Azerbaijan as a strategic partner and ally: “Our presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev are bound by relations of respect, friendship and strategic partnership. Therefore, on this significant day, my most sincere, kind words of congratulations and prosperity are to the Azerbaijani people and the Azerbaijani state,” the expert concluded.

Russian political scientist, journalist, TV anchor and public figure Maxim Shevchenko congratulated the Azerbaijanis and noted the rapid development of the country: “I congratulate the multinational people of Azerbaijan on the Independence Day. I see the progressive development of Azerbaijan, how the country changes year after year, how its districts develop. Azerbaijan implements incredible projects in the liberated territories. I can only thank the people of Azerbaijan, congratulating you on this holiday for what you are doing. You show an example of work, cooperation and a humane attitude towards people.”

“For me, Azerbaijan was, is and remains an example of culture, international law, justice and human relations,” the political scientist concluded.

Russian political scientist, director of the Center for Political Studies Sergey Markov also congratulated the people of Azerbaijan on Independence Day and wished them happiness and prosperity: “I want to congratulate all Azerbaijanis. I have been living with Azerbaijan in my heart for many years. Azerbaijan is a prosperous economy, it is a country where you want to return endlessly, to the incredible, charismatic, beautiful Baku. I want to congratulate all the Azerbaijani people that is close to us on the holiday. I wish you health, good luck and love,” the expert added.
