Saudi Arabia to provide financial support to demining works in Azerbaijan

Chairman of the ANAMA Board, Vugar Suleymanov, and Deputy Director of the Medical and Environmental Aid Department at the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), Abdullah Mohammad Alvadeyi, signed a Memorandum in Baku on the provision of financial assistance by the Humanitarian Aid Center to the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA).

The Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Azerbaijan, Essam bin Saleh Al-Jutaili, also participated in the signing ceremony.

Suleymanov thanked Saudi Arabia for its contribution to demining activities in Azerbaijan.

The parties also exchanged views on support for the fight against mine threats and the future development prospects of cooperation in this field.

The guests also got acquainted with the exhibition, where mine models and other explosive ammunition samples were presented.
