Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis celebrated in Mexico

Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico has hosted an event on the occasion of December 31, the Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis, Report informs referring to the embassy.

Speaking at the event with the participation of Azerbaijani compatriots living in Mexico, Ambassador Mammad Talibov said that last year, under the leadership of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was restored, a historic victory was achieved in the Patriotic War.

It was the solidarity of the people that played an exceptional role in achieving this sacred goal, he noted.

Talibov informed Azerbaijani compatriots about the ongoing construction work in the liberated territories, congratulated them on the Solidarity Day of the World Azerbaijanis and the New Year.

At the event, the guests were presented with samples of the Azerbaijani national cuisine, which was useful for bringing Azerbaijani compatriots living in different states of Mexico closer together.
