State Department: US remains in contact with Baku, Yerevan on normalization of ties

Philip Reeker, the US Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations, remains in daily contact with Azerbaijan and Armenia on normalization of relations between the two countries, Spokesman for the US Department of State Ned Price told a briefing.

"What you can expect to see in the weeks and months ahead is continued American engagement, continued senior-level American engagement. I say that in the aftermath of the Secretary’s convening of the trilateral format of the ministers from both Armenia and Azerbaijan in New York City last month," Ned Price said.
