The glorious victory of Azerbaijan in the second Karabakh War makes Azerbaijan among the very few countries deeply committed with the UN and a strong defender of human rights, US political scientist and expert in international relations Peter Tase told Report.
He was commenting on the speech delivered by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at the 76th session of the UN General Assembly in a format of a video address.
“The head of the state has tremendously advocated for the UN reforms and for a UN with a greater influence in world politics,” Tase said.
President Ilham Aliyev was very much to the point and elaborated on the geopolitics of multilateral platforms, Tase added.
“The statement of President Ilham Aliyev was brilliant and embodied rare tools of leadership, rigor, gallantry and resolve,” he concluded.
