Trees planted in Baku in honor of 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations

A tree-planting ceremony dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan has been held in Ataturk Park in Baku, Report informs.

Pakistani Ambassador to Azerbaijan Bilal Hayee and Head of the Executive Power of Baku city Eldar Azizov took part in the ceremony.

The ambassador noted that this event is an indicator of close friendship between the two countries.

“It is very significant that this year we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. This tree is a symbol of our brotherhood, that our relations will only grow and strengthen,” Hayee said.

The diplomat noted that the countries have always supported each other, both in the issue of Karabakh, and in the issue of Jammu and Kashmir.

“Pakistan is always next to friendly Azerbaijan,” the ambassador said.
