Turkish Ambassador: 'We stand by Azerbaijan and international community should support Baku's efforts'

"We are with Azerbaijan in its just cause," Ambassador of Türkiye to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci wrote on X, Report informs.

The ambassador said he is on the Agdam-Khankandi road together with representatives of the diplomatic missions, military attaches and media outlets.

He wrote on X that Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration, Hikmat Hajiyev, informed the diplomatic missions and the media about the humanitarian cargo that the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society is trying to take to Khankandi and the current situation.

The ambassador noted that Türkiye's expectation from the international community is to support the steps taken by our friend and brother Azerbaijan for territorial integrity and sovereignty, including Baku's food cargo efforts, in order to ensure peace and stability in the region.
