UN official supports global campaign Peace4Culture

"As a UN official, I am proud to be part of the Peace4Culture global campaign. I was in Baku when Azerbaijan officially launched this initiative. But today, there was a presentation within the UN. Many countries took the floor and supported Azerbaijan's initiative. We must start a new path with new initiatives," said High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNHCR) Miguel Angel Moratinos.

According to him, the project aiming to ensure lasting peace for the preservation, revival, and restoration of cultural heritage in the post-conflict period will bring innovation to the concept of peace in the world:

"I am very happy and I hope that with this initiative we will try to understand that we live in a world full of diversity of cultures, identities, and civilizations. Everyone has an identity. With the global campaign Peace4Culture, I believe that we can combine consultations and peace in the whole region and in different situations after the post-conflict situation."
