Yerevan mulls possibility of Armenia-Azerbaijan FMs meeting in Kazakhstan

Yerevan is considering the possibility of holding a meeting of Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov in Kazakhstan, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan said, Report informs referring to Armenian media.

She noted that the date of the possible meeting has not yet been agreed upon, this will be announced as soon as an agreement is reached.

“Armenia considers and supports those mediation efforts or negotiating platforms that are aimed at achieving lasting peace in the South Caucasus, supporting fundamental principles and mutually agreed documents, including the process of mutual recognition of each other’s territorial integrity by Armenia and Azerbaijan based on the Alma-Ata Declaration and delimitation,” she added.
