Azerbaijan sees record hike in COVID incidence since late 2020

Azerbaijan recorded 1,187 new coronavirus cases over the past day, Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 306 people recovered from the infection, while 14 patients lost their lives.

So far, 245,490 people have contracted the virus in Azerbaijan, 232,534 have recovered, while 3,339 died. At present, 9,617 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 2,768,149 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 11,692 today.
