Azerbaijan working on new rules related to alcoholic beverages

The Public Council under the Food Security Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan has held its regular meeting.

Report has learned from the Council that the meeting first focused on the draft "Sanitary norms and rules for alcoholic beverages obtained by distillation"

It was noted that after the discussion, the relevant proposals would be sent to the relevant structures for consideration and approval.

Then the members of the Council listened to the reports of the leading employees of the Association of Meat and Meat Products Producers of Azerbaijan, representatives of various meat products companies.

The Public Council is an association established in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Public Participation” and acting on a voluntary basis to ensure the transparency of the activities of central executive bodies, exercise public control, take into account public opinion in the formation and implementation of state policy and decision making.
