"Recently, the number of coronavirus infections in the country has decreased. This has affected the number of calls for emergency medical care, " said Nurida Farzaliyeva, deputy chief physician for operations at the Baku Emergency Medical Service.
Report quotes her as saying the number of calls to the emergency service drops when the number of infections is low.
“There are very few hospitalizations during the day. Sometimes, even when you have a common cold, you want to see a doctor. Recently, there has been a decrease in the number of emergency calls related to COVID-19.”
