Japan donates medical device to Azerbaijan to fight tuberculosis

“In the last two years, the coronavirus pandemic has affected the provision of health care,” the Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Junichi Wada said, Report informs.

During this period, the fight against tuberculosis also got impacted, the envoy noted.

He said that 2,000 people die of tuberculosis in Japan every year.

The ambassador added that Japan had donated a medical device to Azerbaijan to fight tuberculosis.
