Media tour organized to Liv Bona Dea International Hospital

A media tour has been organized to Liv Bona Dea International Hospital, Report informs.

During the event, media representatives were informed about the activities of the hospital and the medical innovations implemented there.

The 8,209-bed hospital has 12 operating and two angio rooms, 156 inpatient beds, a 28-bed general intensive care unit, a 6-bed cardiovascular surgery intensive care unit, a 7-bed neonatal intensive care unit, and 12 beds in the emergency unit.

The journalists were told that the medical equipment in the hospital was produced by the leading companies of the USA, Germany, Japan, Italy, France, England, Sweden, Belgium, and Spain. According to the contract signed between Bona Dea International Hospital and Liv Medical Group, the hospital provides high-level health services under the brand name Liv Bona Dea.

Liver transplantation, cardiovascular diseases, advanced oncology operations, orthopedic surgery, spine surgery, all routine and genetic screening tests from birth, and diagnostic and treatment services are available here.

The hospital, meeting high standards, is the first healthcare institution in Azerbaijan and in the region to be assessed by the Joint Commission International (JCI) with a 100% score.

The hospital's opening was held on March 27, 2018, with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
