Teymur Musayev: Currently, situation of pandemic in Azerbaijan under control

The Minister of Health met with Jay Singh, Director of the USAID Mission to Azerbaijan, and Hande Harmanci, Head of the World Health Organization (WHO) Office in Azerbaijan, Report informs.

Minister Teymur Musayev said that thanks to President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijani citizens were provided with all vaccines based on various technological platforms in the fight against the pandemic: "In addition, Azerbaijan is successfully fighting COVID-19, and the situation of the pandemic in the country is currently under control."

During the conference, the Minister also informed about the use of digital and innovative technologies in Azerbaijan, the healthcare system reforms.

The sides exchanged views on the psychological and post-traumatic rehabilitation of war veterans and their families.

They also discussed the restoration of medical infrastructure in liberated and other areas, the introduction of new technologies in health facilities.

The meeting noted the importance of implementing joint projects in the future.
