Turkish Health Ministry applies for approval of TURKOVAC for emergency use

Turkey's Health Ministry has applied to the country's Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK) for the approval of their TURKOVAC coronavirus vaccine for emergency us, Health Minister Fahrettin Koja said.

Report informs, citing Anadolu, that the Turkish vaccine TURKOVAC was developed by Erciyes University and the Health Ministry's Healthcare Institute.

According to the minister, it is currently undergoing the third stage of clinical trials with the study to complete by end-year.
