The World Health Organization (WHO) is not yet recommending countries to introduce COVID-19 vaccination passports,
“WHO has stated that it does not currently recommend such passports. But, of course, the countries go their own way. They all are trying to allow greater mobility of the population. WHO will cooperate with all interested countries, and at some point, will provide its recommendation on what such a passport should contain,” Vujnovic said.
Earlier, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, tweeted that the EU plans to present a bill on an electronic vaccination passport in March, allowing for recording vaccinations and coronavirus test results or if the person had COVID-19 before.
