Azerbaijan advances 7 steps in terms of mobile internet speed

In February of this year, Azerbaijan advanced seven steps among 137 countries for mobile internet speed and ranked 57th with a speed of 37.42 MB/s, Report informs, citing Speedtest Global Index.

According to the information, last month, Azerbaijan ranked 117th in the world according to the average speed of fixed broadband Internet, which is one step up. In February, the average speed of fixed broadband Internet in the country was 27.57 MB/S.

A study was conducted in 180 countries regarding the speed of fixed broadband Internet. Singapur ranked first with 237.15 MB/S, while Cuba (1.88 MB/S) was the last country on the list.

In the list of mobile Internet, UAE ranked first with a speed of 179.61 MB/S, and Afghanistan ranked 137th with a speed of 4.04 MB/S.
