Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports joins Teknofest festival

Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov visited the Teknofest - Aerospace and Technology Festival in Istanbul, Turkey.

Gayibov got acquainted with the unmanned aerial vehicles produced by the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan, pavilions of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies, the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports, as well as startup projects developed by the teams of Azerbaijan Technical University and Baku Turkish Anatolian High School.

The Minister also watched the demonstration of Bayraktar TB2, Akinci, and other military aircraft.

The primary purpose of the international event, held for the fourth year in a row, is to develop aviation, space, and technological skills among young people, to support new ideas and initiatives. This year, 200,000 people in 44,912 teams in 34 categories participate, making it the world's largest technology festival.
