According to Report, noting that more than 180 million terminals are currently connected to the country's 5G communication network, the deputy minister emphasized that due to coronavirus, Internet traffic in the country increased by 50% compared to the end of last year, and in some regions even 60-70%.
In China, where 5G communication services have been provided since October last year, Shanghai, the country's largest city, has a central position in scientific research and the number of base stations in the network. For the first time, a separate 5G network consisting of 46,500 base stations was built in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, covering the entire city.
