Instagram loses 1/3 of Its market share in Azerbaijan in 1 month

In August 2024, Instagram's share of the social media market in Azerbaijan (including computers, mobile devices and tablets) was 25.49%, Report informs referring to Statcounter data.

This is 12.67 percentage points less than in July and 7 percentage points less than a year ago. As a result, the social network lost 33% of its market share in August compared to the previous month.

The market share of Facebook, which ranks second, increased by 21 percentage points in a month and by 19.06 percentage points in a year, amounting to 43.8%. The share of Pinterest, which ranks third, decreased by 2.41 percentage points compared to July and by 4.3 percentage points compared to August 2023, amounting to 12.43%.

YouTube, in fourth place, saw its share fall 3.1 percentage points month-on-month and 3.83 percentage points year-on-year to 8.07%. This is while X has a market share of 5.9%. X's share is up 1.6 percentage points from July and 4.46 percentage points from a year ago.
