“We are faced with a new reality. The development of artificial intelligence and the introduction of its capabilities when disseminating information on social networks may in the future, and we are already seeing this today, lead to unregulated consequences,” he noted.

Hajiyev added that if the parties were unable to achieve a positive result in the application of the regulatory mechanism in social networks, they may be able to jointly apply some mechanism in relation to AI at the international level.

According to Hajiyev, there are private initiatives in this matter, but there are no serious discussions on this issue at the international level.
