Rashad Nabiyev: We will deliver Internet to most remote villages by 2024

"Just as 3.6 billion people do not have access to the Internet today, Azerbaijan is no exception. Not enough people in the country have access to the Internet, and our goal is to deliver fiber to every house by 2024," Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Rashad Nabiyev said at an international conference on 'Design of education in the perspective of post-COVID-19 and the 4th Industrial Revolution' in Baku.

"President Ilham Aliyev has set instructions in this regard. One of the main pillars for digital transformation is building the infrastructure we are already working on. I say with full responsibility that by 2024 we will have provided the Internet to ensure that inclusion throughout Azerbaijan, even in the most remote villages," Nabiyev noted.
