Samaddin Asadov: Azerbaijan's new satellites can be launched into orbit from Falcon rockets

Azerbaijan's new satellites can be launched into orbit from the Falcon rockets of the US company SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies Corporation), Chairman of the Board of the Space Agency (Azercosmos) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport Samaddin Asadov said, Report informs.

According to Asadov, discussions were held with Gwynne Shotwell, president and chief operating officer of SpaceX, who is visiting Azerbaijan:

"Azerbaijan is preparing to implement new satellite projects in the coming years. In this meeting, we discussed the possibilities of launching new satellites of Azerbaijan into orbit from Falcon rockets and the participation of SpaceX in the International Astronautical Congress to be held in Baku, as well as organizational issues at the highest level."
