A decision was made to establish the Turkish-Azerbaijani Digital Transformation Forum and organize the first event at the end of 2022 in order to involve the private sector in digital transformation projects, expand cooperation in B2B and B2G formats, Report informs.
An agreement on this was reached at the first meeting of the Azerbaijani-Turkish working group on digital transformation via videoconference co-chaired by Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan Rovshan Rustamov and Deputy Chairman of the Digital Transformation Office of the Turkish Presidential Administration Yavuz Emir Beyribey.
The meeting participants discussed the work to be done in 2022-2023 in the areas of cooperation indicated in the “Roadmap of the Azerbaijani-Turkish Working Group on Digital Transformation between the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan and the Digital Transformation Office of the Turkish Presidential Administration” signed on September 14, 2021 in Baku.
These areas include the protection of personal data, cybersecurity, “government cloud,” the concept of digital transformation.
