WhatsApp is testing the ability to find stores and services, CEO of the messenger Will Cathcart said.
Report informs, citing foreign media, that the so-called 'neighborhood businesses' feature is available for users of Android smartphones. Currently, the testing covers only the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo. However, in the near future it will be possible to search for stores in the application in other countries around the world.
The messenger assures that the new feature provides complete privacy. The app will not track users' location or personal information about companies viewed through the feature.
