The delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkiye, headed by Major General Resul Hologlu, arrived in Baku to participate in the 7th working meeting of the ministries of internal affairs of Azerbaijan and Turkiye.
Report has learned from the Ministry of Internal Affairs that the Minister of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov, received the delegation on July 6.
He noted with satisfaction that ties, strategic cooperation, and interaction between Turkiye and Azerbaijan are increasingly deepening.
According to him, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan attaches great importance to developing relations with the law enforcement agencies of fraternal Turkiye, both in bilateral and multilateral formats.
Eyvazov expressed confidence that the working meetings held within the framework of cooperation between the police authorities would serve as an impetus for further expansion of ties between the ministries of internal affairs of the two countries.
The head of the Turkish delegation, Major General Resul Hologlu expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality. He expressed satisfaction that the two friendly and fraternal countries always take a unified position against global problems that are a serious obstacle to peace and stability in the region, including against all manifestations of organized crime.
