Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General meets with Director of Special Investigation Service of Lithuania

On February 27, the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, Kamran Aliyev, met with the delegation led by Žydrūnas Bartkus, Director at the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania, Report informs, citing the Prosecutor General's Office.

At the meeting, views were exchanged on the implementation of the European Union Twinning project in the field of recovery of criminally acquired assets and the upcoming issues.

The guests were informed about the "Electronic Prosecutor's Office Information System" activities approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, dated March 3, 2022, within the framework of large-scale reforms carried out in prosecutor's offices. The platform, which uses advanced information technology and currently operates in test mode, aroused the guests' interest.
