Azerbaijani Border Service gives back Iran’s state flag

A national flag of Iran that was carried by a strong wind into the territory of Azerbaijan was given back to Iran, the press center of the State Border Service (SBS) told Report.

On February 1, the Lankaran border detachment of the State Border Service found an Iranian flag, blown by a strong wind into the Azerbaijani territory, the report added.

Later the flag was delivered to the border area and the relevant Iranian agency was informed about the incident through the border control.

On February 2, in the spirit of mutual respect, the flag was handed over to the Iranian border guards in compliance with the necessary norms.
