Azerbaijani killed in Istanbul shooting

Three people were killed, while one was wounded in a shootout between armed groups in Istanbul's Basaksehir district, Report informs, citing local media.

According to the information, one of the dead was an Azerbaijani citizen and two Russian citizens. One more person was wounded.

A dispute broke out among six foreign citizens in Bahceshehir part of Basaksehir district on March 31 at about 18:00 local time resulted in a skirmish. As a result, Chechen Z.N. and K.Y. died of gunshot wounds. R.R. of Azerbaijani origin was taken to hospital but died of his injuries. The wounded person M.Y. is in critical condition.

The incident occurred after a dispute over the purchase. According to the wounded person, three Georgian citizens accompanied him. However, they fled the scene. Police are searching for the suspects.
