Helicopter involved in fighting forest fire in Azerbaijan's Yardimli

The fire continues in the forest in a mountainous area near Honuba village of Yardimli, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A total of 130 personnel of fire departments of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Civil Defense Troops, and the Southern Regional Center, and employees of the Forestry Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and residents are fighting the fire in difficult mountainous terrain to contain the blaze and prevent its spread to a larger area, with mainly manual labor used to put out the fire.

One helicopter of the Aviation Detachment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been involved in firefighting this morning.
