The Judicial-Legal Council held a meeting through video conferencing. Report informs.
The meeting noted that new rules were approved for the comprehensive and principled assessment of the activities of judges within the implementation of the decree, and its electronic software was developed.
Under these rules, opinions of higher, appellate, and other relevant courts, information of the Ministry of Justice, other relevant materials were collected, necessary analyzes were carried out, and final opinions were prepared and submitted to the Council for discussion.
The meeting discussed the evaluation materials about these judges, identified professional shortcomings in the activities of 14 of them, gave them six months to eliminate deficiencies in their work, and decided to terminate the powers of 3 judges.
