Prosecutor General's Office: Azerbaijan will bring to justice anyone involved in crime of genocide

Azerbaijan will bring to justice anyone who committed the crimes of genocide against Azerbaijanis in Karabakh, and this process is currently being continued, Ilgar Safarov, senior assistant to the prosecutor general on special assignments, said in a TV program.

He said that Meshali is not the first genocide:

"Each of the crimes committed in Karkijahan, Khojaly, Bash Guneypaya, Bashlibel, Garadaghly, and Tunnel massacre have been recorded. Each of our deceased citizens and victims was recorded. Necessary actions of preliminary investigation have been completed in relation to each incident. Today, we are able to demonstrate the decisions made regarding the genocide in 1992 and present the prepared documents to everyone. Concerning other investigative actions, we also announced in 2022 that the statute of limitations is not applied here."
