The remains believed to belong to two people were found in Yukhari Seyidahmadli village of Fuzuli district, Adalat Hasanov, director of the Forensic Medicine and Pathological Anatomy Bureau of the Ministry of Health, told Report.
He said that the last time the corpses were presented to the Forensic Medical Expertise and Pathological Anatomy Association 2-3 days ago:
"When minesweepers, employees of the prosecutor's office, and those engaged in repair and construction work find remains, our employees pack them and bring them. It is not known whether these remains belong to the missing or to those who died in the later period. Sometimes rib bones are found, but no DNA samples can be taken from them. Because they are rotten. But we have the remains of about 300-400 people. For now, it is impossible to say how many people they belong to."
Hasanov added that remains were also removed from the graves of unknown martyrs:
"They are also included in the list of total persons. Recently, our employees were in the Fuzuli district for search operations. Excavations were carried out until May 16. Remains believed to belong to two people were found in the territory of Yukhari Seyidahmadli village."
