From 01:00 am on June 6, traffic will be restricted on the avenues and streets covered by the Baku City Circuit connected with the Azerbaijani Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The Baku City Circuit Operations Company (BCC) told Report that traffic would be resumed on June 14 in the morning.
Turab Teymurov, the head of the press service of a company, said that the traffic restrictions would be applied in 3 zones: "The first zone is the Icheri Sheher area covered by the racetrack, the second is the Freedom Square and nearby streets, and the third zone is the UN 50th Anniversary Street. During the competition, a "Residence Permit" will be issued for the entry and exit of vehicles to these areas. Drivers living and working in these areas will be able to obtain a permit free of charge by applying to BCC."
There will be no restrictions on pedestrian traffic during the Azerbaijani Grand Prix.
