Beijing 2022: Azerbaijani athlete to compete in finals

Figure skater Vladimir Litvintsev, who represents Azerbaijan at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, will perform in the finals today,

According to Report, the 21-year-old athlete will compete in the free program in Group II.

Litvintsev will try to show his skills in the 7th place after the first six places in the competition, which will start at 05:30 Baku time (GMT+4).

The group also includes Brendan Kerry (Australia), Denis Vasilyev (Latvia), Mark Kondratyuk (Russian Olympic Committee), Adam Siao Him Fa (France) and Matteo Rizzo (Italy).

Litvintsev ended 18th in the short program with 84.15 points and qualified for the free program after he managed to join the 'list of 24.' The winner of the tournament will be determined by the sum of points in both programs.

Azerbaijani female figure skater Ekaterina Ryabova will compete on February 15. The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics will end on February 20.
