An interesting event was observed today at the World Shooting Championship held in Baku, Report informs.
The members of the Norwegian team, who became champions in men’s 300-metre rifle prone, returned their bronze medals.
They justified this by the fact that one of the shooters was disqualified during the competition and this was not taken into account by the jury during the awards ceremony. The International Shooting Sports Federation assessed this step of the Norwegians as a manifestation of fair play (fair play) and considered them worthy of medals.
