ISSF World Championship: Another record renewed in Baku

On the 13th day of the ISSF World Championship in Baku, spectators and participants witnessed another world record, Report informs.

Slovenian shooter Rajmond Debevec, who won the gold medal in men's 300m prone shooting, has renewed the world record at the age of 60, scoring all possible 600 points.

He became the oldest shooter who managed to achieve this result. Previously, this record belonged only to the Swede Karl Olsson, who set it at the age of 38.

Second place in the competition was taken by shooter Aleksi Leppa from Finland with 599 points. Timothy Sherry, representing the United States, was awarded the bronze medal (599 points).

In the team competitions of this category among men, Norway took the first place, Poland became the second, Switzerland closed the top three.

Karolina Romanczyk from Poland, who scored 593 points, won the gold medal in the women's competition. Second place went to Silvia Guignard Schnyder of Switzerland with 592 points, while France's Agathe Cécile Camille Girard took bronze with 592 points.

In the women's team competition, the first place was taken by Switzerland, the second by Norway, and the third by Germany.
