Industrial production in China rises 3.9% in 3Q

The output of China's major industrial enterprises in the first three quarters of 2022 increased by 3.9% compared to the same period last year, Report informs referring to the State Statistical Bureau of the People’s Republic of China.

The volume of production in the mining industry in January-September increased by 8.5% compared to the same period in 2021, in the manufacturing industry - by 3.2%, the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water rose by 5.6%. The volume of high-tech production and production of equipment increased by 8.5% and 6.3%, respectively.

Separately, in September 2022, the indicator noted an increase of 6.3% in annual terms and 0.84% ​​compared to the previous month. Production volumes in September rose by 7.2% in the mining industry, by 6.4% in the manufacturing industry and by 2.9% in generation and supply of electricity, head, gas and water year-on-year.

The production of cars on new energy sources increased by 110% in September, and by 112.5% for the first three quarters, the production of industrial robots in September increased by 15.7%, but in the first three quarters it decreased by 7.1%.

The data of the Statistical Bureau reflect the volume of production of China's major industrial enterprises.
