Azerbaijan to attend meeting of OTS transport ministers 

The Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rovshan Rustamov, is attending the meeting of the Ministers of Transport of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) on October 27-28 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Report informs, citing the Ministry.

The event participants will discuss issues related to the further development of international freight transport, increasing the transit potential of the region, as well as the search for alternative transport routes.

The first meeting of heads of railway administrations and the fifth meeting of heads of ports of the OTS member states will take place within the framework of the event.

Following the meeting, it is expected to agree on such documents as the Agreement on International Multimodal Transport and the Program of Cooperation in the transport sphere between the member states of the Organization of Turkic States.
