Baku Airport warns against fake pages on social media

Recently, fake pages opened on social networks on behalf of the Heydar Aliyev International Airport have been posting advertisements related to the sale of allegedly lost luggage, and attempts have been made to collect personal information from citizens, the Media Development Agency of Azerbaijan and Heydar Aliyev International Airport said in a joint statement, Report informs.

"We would like to inform you that this information is completely fake and has no connection to Baku Airport.

We urge citizens to be vigilant and recommend following information only from official sources, including the official website of the Heydar Aliyev International Airport airport.az and social media accounts.

Appropriate measures are taken against counterfeit materials and their sources," reads the statement.
