On November 18, Azerbaijan Amelioration and Water Management OJSC signed contracts with Turkiye's Cengiz Construction Industry and Trade JSC and Azerbaijan's North West Construction LLC on the design and construction of the Zabukhchay reservoir, as well as the main pipeline, Report informs.
According to OJSC, the chairman of the institution Zaur Mikayilov, deputy chairman Rafig Aslanov, and other society representatives took part in the ceremony.
New modern irrigation systems will be applied in those areas, and a remote control system (SCADA) will be established for their operation.
Cengiz Asim, head of Cengiz Construction Industry and Trade JSC, said that the project would be delivered on time and with high quality.
In October 2023, part of the land will be supplied with irrigation water from the Zabukhchay reservoir, which will have a volume of 26.7 million cubic meters, and in 2024, the entire land will be supplied with irrigation water.
