Latvian Envoy: Azerbaijan to make Karabakh region even more beautiful

Azerbaijan is set to make the Karabakh region even more beautiful, Latvian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Edgars Skuja said at the B2B Forum themed "Green Technology and Sustainable Development" held in Baku, Report informs.

"We congratulate you on the restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty and wish your country success in the restoration of Karabakh. I want to express my assurance that Azerbaijan will make this region even more beautiful," Ambassador Skuja stated.

The envoy noted that this marks a new stage in bilateral relations between Latvia and Azerbaijan, encompassing political dialogue, economic cooperation, and cultural exchange.

He highlighted the excellent and friendly ties between the two nations and said he eagerly anticipates the upcoming visit of the Latvian President to Azerbaijan.

"At the same time, we are planning a visit by the President of Azerbaijan to our country, as these visits are of great importance for the development of mutual relations," the ambassador added.
