American traveler: Karabakh possesses scores of development opportunities

There are many opportunities for development in Karabakh, Report informs, quoting US traveler Sal Lavallo telling a presser in Baku.

He said he is very glad that the whole country, including the private sector, is involved in the restoration and development of this region.

In particular, he highly appreciated the pace of infrastructure restoration work, including the implementation of the smart village project in Zangilan.

Lavallo also expressed the hope for the soonest restoration of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Well-known foreign travelers from 21 countries visited the liberated territories of Azerbaijan along the route Fuzuli-Shusha-Agdam-Kalbajar-Lachin corridor-Gubadli-Zangilan. During the three-day visit, they got acquainted with the historical and cultural monuments in these territories, with the destruction committed by the Armenians during the occupation, as well as with the work to restore the infrastructure.
