Assistant to President holds briefing for foreign media representatives

Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Department for Foreign Policy Affairs of Azerbaijan's Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev held a video conference with the world's leading foreign media accredited in Russia (Reuters, Voice of America, Financial Times, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Die Welt, EFE, ABC Spain, Bloomberg, CNN, France Presse, RAI, Al Jazeera, Al Arabiya, Der Standard, Asahi, etc.) held a press briefing in video format.

He informed foreign media on the latest provocations of the Armenian armed forces.

Regretting that there were casualties among the civilian population, the presidential aide said that the civilian infrastructure was purposefully targeted.

Hajiyev also noted that, unlike Armenia, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces strictly adhere to international humanitarian law and have accurate information about the use of civilians by Armenians as a shield during military operations.

Later, Hajiyev answered journalists' questions and invited them to Azerbaijan.
